Designed and Built by PARC DC – Pasadena, California
PARC DC was assigned to design a conference table that would suit the limited space available and be able to be expanded and enlarged if needed. The project was designed as a rectangle proportional to the conference room area with two triangular foldable leaves that could be folded to allow for more room around the table. The leaves, when expanded would mimic the shape of the conference room. The table frame was of welded steel angle and micro-lam structural joists were used as the table top surface.
